Teachers Board Exam Results | Licensure Exam for Teachers Results | LET Results

A total of 13,387 elementary and secondary teachers passed the 2009 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced today (Click here to view the complete list of passers).

Examinees from the University of the Philippines-Diliman and the Central Luzon State University topped this year's LET in the elementary and secondary levels, respectively.

Lorivi Robles Huyaban of UP-Diliman led all takers in the elementary level with a score of 90 percent, while Central Luzon State’s Benedict Enriquez Barayuga placed first in the secondary level with a score of 91.60 percent.

Out of the 26,812 elementary teachers who took the exam, 7,470 or 27.86 percent passed.

Meanwhile, 5,914 or 24.67 percent of the 23,975 secondary teachers successfully met the passing mark.

The 2009 LET was held last April 5 in 15 testing centers nationwide. It was administered by the Board for Professional Teachers, led by chairman Dr. Josefina Cunanan and officer-in-charge Dr. Brenda Corpuz.

For LET passers from NCR and Region IV, tickets for the oath-taking ceremonies can be claimed at the Office of Professional Teachers, 3rd Floor, PRC Annex Building. Passers from other regions can obtain theirs from PRC regional offices.

The following are the requirements for the issuance of the Certificate of Registration and Professional Identification Card (ID):

1. Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
2. Latest Community Tax Certificate (cedula);
3. One (1) 1x1 colored photo (with white background and complete name tag);
4. Two (2) 2x2 colored photos (white background and complete name tag);
5. Metered documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and
6. Initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2009-2001

The PRC also reminds passers to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
